Flexibility is Key; As the work involved is predominantly part-time, it is important that you have the ability to make your own arrangements, to fit in with your existing commitments - either social or domestic.
The hours involved are flexible within specific agreed days, and can range from as little as 4 hours a week upwards; it's normally a combination of what we need, what you can offer, and when you can work them.
Flexible hours; does not mean that our people can swap from day to day without prior agreement; we set high expectorations that calls are to be completed on the agreed scheduled day, and we consistently and constantly measure and report on the achievement against our target of 99% on schedule day.
Display Representatives; we are looking for individuals who are capable of managing themselves!
You need to be physically fit, as the work involved sometimes means lifting boxes from the stores warehouse onto a stock-cart, and wheeling the cart onto the shop floor, where you'd then merchandise the products onto the fixtures.
As you will be in front of customers too, you'll also need to be happy talking to and dealing with people. Finally, you will need to hold a full and clean driving license, and have use of a car in order to visit your stores.
Technology; we provide all our contracted staff with the latest PDA (Pocket Digital Assistant) equipment with full GPRS capabilities. It's an essential tool which you will use every time you do a call. Don't be put off by the Jargon and the word technology; You will be provided with all the training and tools you'll need in order to do the job effectively and professionally, first time... every time.
Accountability; To display stock and point of sale to agreed standards and timeframes within stores. To positively represent the company, fostering good relationships with clients and customers.
Personal Specification - these are a requirement for all roles:
FACT; The advantage to working with eXPD8 is that you may only be able to work for a couple of hours a day whilst the kids are at school, or early morning before they go to school, or even afterwards. That's the flexibility we mean. So, for example, if you can only manage, say, 3 hours a day (15 hours a week), then it's really up to you, and the stores you'd be covering, as to when during the day you worked those 3 hours. And, it needn't be the same days every week. So, if you need to alter them to suit a particular situation, then that's fine, we just need to know so we can plan accordingly.
That's what we mean by flexibility and the ability to manage yourself!
