Case Study - Space Reporting

Our Client needed to maintain accurate store space data for the purpose of ordering.  

Space data can be viewed as simply a special kind of compliance question, where the response one week, is the starting point for the question for the following week.

To meet the requirement, the standard eXPD8 Space Reporting function was used.

 All the particular types of fixture were set-up in the eXPD8 database.

  • Each visit, the merchandiser was required to confirm the fixtures were still in place, and or record any changes.
  • On synchronisation, the central space database was updated
  • The client was informed of any changes by automated e-mail alert.

 The outcome was much improved space records, improved ordering, and the ability to follow up changes on a timely basis with the prevention of loss of space.
