Life within the Entertainment team at eXPD8 has come a long way since I joined the company in 2011.
Back then we represented two film studios (Sony Pictures and StudioCanal) on an ad hoc basis in one retailer. From these early opportunities, we’ve developed and refined the ultimate delivery process for launch based merchandising – not only for DVD/Blu-ray – but also for games, books, music, technology; In fact, any product in any retailer.
Part of our success comes from letting our actions speak louder than words. New clients come to us with one off pieces of work or trials. We give them the opportunity to try our services, whether it be in one retailer or for a particular activity, so they can see what we can really do for them.
Our latest exciting partnership is with 20th Century Fox. At the start we were able to demonstrate the strength of our approach, providing ad hoc tactical support and the benefit of the synergies that cross studio activity brings. This has lead on to us working together on some brilliant titles so far this year and we look forward to this continuing relationship.
Where are we now? My team is working within all retailers for games, books, tech’ and music suppliers. In the world of DVD, I’m proud to say that we now support all the major Film Studios.
