Ready Player One’s use of a veritable plethora of retro titles and characters meant the drafting opportunities were enormous. In the weeks leading up to Ready Player One launch day we were involved with setting up a variety of Barkers and Blockers to highlight classic films featured in the modern blockbuster
Talk Ups for key Theatrical stores were included in existing Warner calls the week before launch at no extra cost to the client, helping raise store awareness of the coming Units
To minimise POS going missing, eXPD8 merchandisers walked all possible stockholding POS into Asda and Morrisons
eXPD8 completed replenishment visits across Week 1 and 2, ensuring continued visibility and availability of the product to consumers across the key sales period
We later included replenishment of this key title on the subsequent Warner launch – Rampage – thereby ensuring continued compliance across the title’s opening month
To plan and implement the Home Entertainment launch of Ready Player One, Warner’s biggest film of the summer, into store’s around the country
