Women are at the heart of field marketing. They lead teams, strengthen client partnerships, deliver in store excellence and shape the strategic direction of our business. At eXPD8, that contribution is visible at every level of our organisation and throughout the year.
With a workforce of more than 2,800 colleagues, we are proud that women represent the majority of our people across field, management and leadership roles. Field marketing is fast paced and results driven. It demands resilience, collaboration, commercial awareness and accountability. Every day, women across eXPD8 demonstrate these qualities in stores nationwide and around the leadership table.
A workforce powered by women
The strength of eXPD8 lies in its people. Today:
- 82% of our workforce are women
- 71% of our Leadership Team are women
- 79% of our Field Management colleagues are women
- 77% of our top quartile earners are women
These figures reflect meaningful representation, not just at entry level but across senior decision making roles. Women are shaping strategy, influencing operational delivery and driving performance for our clients across the UK.

Our Gender Pay Gap
We pride ourselves on treating all colleagues fairly and equally and welcome Government action on gender pay transparency.
The headline gender pay figures relate to hourly pay. The mean value calculates the average hourly rate for male and female colleagues, while the median identifies the mid point pay rate across the workforce.
In 2025, eXPD8 reported a 0% median gender pay gap for the ninth consecutive year, alongside a reduction in our mean gender pay gap compared to the previous year. We remain well ahead of the UK average.
We monitor salaries at all levels to ensure differences are performance based rather than gender based. There is no gender pay gap within the same job bandings. With 82% of our workforce in field roles being women, and only 30% of the highest paid roles held by men including our two founders, any residual mean gap reflects workforce composition rather than unequal pay for equal work.
Transparency matters, but action matters more. We continue to review our data and policies to ensure fairness remains embedded in our culture.

Supporting Women at Every Stage
Creating opportunity is only part of the picture. Supporting wellbeing and long term career sustainability is equally important.
We have introduced a Periods and Menopause Wellbeing Policy to ensure colleagues feel supported at every life stage. Through manager upskilling and open conversation, we are creating an environment where people can speak confidently about their needs and continue to thrive in their roles.
Flexible working opportunities, clear progression pathways and inclusive policies help ensure that talent is retained and developed across the business.
From Merchandiser to Leader
One of the defining strengths of eXPD8 is visible career progression. Many of our leaders began their careers in field based roles. They understand the realities of store environments because they have worked in them.
Progression from merchandiser to field manager and into head office or leadership roles is not the exception. It is a pathway that demonstrates what is possible within field marketing.
Leaders who have experienced store level execution first hand bring practical insight into strategy, training and client delivery. That perspective strengthens our operational quality and ensures our decisions are grounded in reality.
Why Inclusive Leadership Strengthens Execution
Inclusive leadership is not simply about representation. It directly impacts execution quality.
When leadership teams reflect the diversity of the workforce, decision making becomes more informed and grounded. Collaboration improves. Communication strengthens. Different perspectives challenge assumptions and raise standards.
In field marketing, where consistency, compliance and quality are critical, inclusive leadership drives better outcomes. It builds engaged teams who feel valued and empowered to deliver their best work in store.
At eXPD8, celebrating women is not limited to one day in the calendar. It is reflected in how we recruit, develop, support and promote talent across our 2,800 strong workforce.
By continuing to champion equality, transparency and opportunity, we strengthen not only our culture but the quality of execution we deliver for every client, every day.
