Gender Pay Gap Report – 2024

eXPD8 prides itself on treating all colleagues fairly and equally and welcomes the Government action on gender pay inequalities in the workplace.

The headline numbers quoted with regard to gender pay are those for hourly pay.  The “mean” value calculates an average hourly rate for both male and female colleagues, whereas the “median” value is the mid-point pay rate for our colleagues.

We are pleased to report eXPD8 remains well ahead of the average UK pay gap in 2024.

eXPD8 once again reported a 0% median pay gap in 2024, the eigth consecutive year. 

We monitor salaries at all levels to ensure that any differences are performance-based rather than gender-based and therefore we do not have a gender pay gap when it comes to colleagues within the same job banding.  Though only 30% of the best paid jobs in the company are held by men (including the 2 founders) the overall residual mean Gender Pay gap is a function of employing a high proportion of women (80%) in the field.

The bonus gender pay gap figures are statistically meaningless because only 1 man received a bonus during the year.

According to the ONS, among all employees, the gender pay gap decreased to 13.1% in 2024, from 14.3% in 2023. (As reporting on 29th October 2024).
